July 6 12:00 - 13:00

Teatergata 10

In the exhibition Your Words Are Important, we are showcasing for the first time our visitors' contributions to the conversation about July 22. Over 10,000 memory cards and many thousands of drawings and figures have been created by our visitors. Everything written and made by visitors at the 22 July Center is preserved. The words shared are powerful; they comfort and inspire, express anger, care, and hope. In this way, our visitors help to continue the conversation about July 22 – now 13 years later. The exhibition features a selection of the extensive collection of memory cards, letters, figures, and drawings created by the public at the center. We aim to create an engaging exhibition where visitors continue to use their words and express their thoughts about July 22.

During the exhibition opening, there will be a speech by Director Lena Fahre and an introduction to the exhibition by Exhibition Manager Christina Marwold. After this, visitors will be able to explore the exhibition on their own.

The exhibition Your Words Are Important will be on display throughout the summer of 2024.

From June 25 to August 19, the 22 July Center will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
