The Public Conversation About 22 July – To live on

For some of us, 22 July is now a historic event which is behind us. However, survivors, bereaved families and next-of-kin carry the terror attack with them every day. Some have scars on their bodies, some have scars in their souls.

Many struggle with long-term mental and physical illness, while others have found it easier to return to their daily lives. However, all those affected by the terror attack, both in the government building complex and on Utøya, have first-hand experience of terrorism; of trauma, loss and crisis; and of life in the aftermath.

Through the people directly affected by the terror attack, the consequences of 22 July live on among us.
