The 22 July Centre have since 2015 worked closely toghether with colaborative partners nationally and internationally. Here you will find information about some of them.
The labour party youth league (AUF) and the National Support Group after 22 July were initiators of the information centre in the High-rise building in 2015, og are to this day important supporters and cooperative partners to the centre. We are in close dialogue concerning new exhibitions, events and not least the establishing of the permanent centre in the High-rise building to be opened in 2025/26.
We are so fortunate to be in contact with dozens of individuals whom are directly affected by 22 July. They represent an invaluable resource and are important contributors to exhibitions, in witness dialogues and other mediation settings.
There are close ties between our teaching activity and that of Utøya, in spite of central differences between Utlya and the 22 July Centre as arenas of learning. We cooperate with The European Wergeland Centre and Utøya AS, both in the developement of teaching programs, in teacher and student-teacher courses, as well as in commemorative projects.
We cooperate with several Norwegian teacher educations institutions, from Tromsø in the north, to Bergen and Volda in the west, and Krisitiansand in the south, in addition to several in Oslo and the surrounding areas. At several of the institutions our student teacher courses on how to teach about 22 July are an anual addition.
Since 2015 the 22 July Centre has collected and mediated historical traces and objects that in varying ways carries stories from and about the terror attack in 2011. The Centre cooperates with several museum networks, who assist in our work with collections and conservation.
